 Do you have a source for the spring-loaded teflon buttons used on the slide
 throttle?  Also, do you have a drawing for the end piece that secures the
 throttle cable to the slide throttle assembly?

 They don't have to be spring loaded.
 A little slop will not hurt.

 Craig bought some
 1/4 teflon rod from McMaster and cut them on a lathe as I recall.
 Drill four 3/16" dia. 3/16" deep holes in the four corners of the slide.

 You have to string all this together in one long address.

 The throttle cable holder is made from 1/2 inch thick Al plate.

 I used 3/16 solid teflon rod from scientific commodities. No springs.
 trimmed to proper dimension with razor blade after press fit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you installing these teflon rod pieces
into aluminum sliders to prevent metal to metal contact?  My 3-rotor slide
throttle has a teflon slider, so I see no benefit to adding these teflon
pieces.  But thanks anyway for the excellent link.

That is correct.
You brought it up Mark.

Now I am beginning to wonder what "spring-loaded teflon
buttons used on the slide throttle" you are talking about.

All our slide throttle kits now use thin sheet teflon between
the front and back covers with a plain aluminum slide.
The small buttons we are talking about go in the top and bottom
edges of the slide.
