Hello,

I'm looking into purchasing some CAD software (it has to have a very short
learning curve).  I've looked into Rhino and some of the other packages out
there but I've found the prices/licensing and learning curve a little too
much for home use.  I've stumbled on TurboCAD Deluxe16 (2D/3D) and I was
wondering if there are people out there that can suggest if this is worth
getting or even suggest a better package.  The price seems right, but for
long term use is it worth it?

For long term I recommend taking a course in a junior college or adult
classes of any kind and then use that as evidence to get Rhino at a discount.

You don't actually have to attend the classes. Unless of course they
teach Rhino.

For real simple quick and dirty Qcad is free and it will import/export
2D dwg from/to Rhino.
