 I am finished with machining and just waiting for the Stainless clamps
 from Parker...

 Seals are good to 300 degrees and need to be assembled with a non
 petroleum based lubricant such as silicone. These are the Viton but
 there is the hollow core elastomer type that is about $3 each that I can
 get on request. Â I don't think sealing is any better, just easier to
 assemble.....

 They are ready now to order and I am asking $40 each plus shipping, less
 than originally quoted.

Paul,

Things are going pretty well since I relocated the CAS and built a new (very
stout) CAS mounting bracket.  Since doing this, I've seen as high as 6750
rpm on various takeoff runs, and can run all day long in the 5000-6000
range.  I think the troubles were a combination of CAS mounting and tuning
of the EC-2.  Once I got the CAS problem solved, the tuning issues became
more evident.  I still need to work on tuning the < 3000 range, but  3000
is very smooth.  I'm now back to working various other squawks.
