There was a liquid cooled starter/generator shown on the web a couple
weeks
 ago, does any one still have the details?

weight size and projected production date.
No luck in receiving a response yet.

You have got to appear like Government Motors :)

I think the whole idea has fallen into disfavor as
I think GM tried to use them as a hybrid motor.
It made a piss poor hybrid.

If you build them strong enough to act as a hybrid motor
they are too expensive to use as an alternator/starter.

Classic case of defective economic green blindness :)

IMHO the same thing will happen to the Volt.

We have emailed them, But I guess now we will not get a response. For
sometime we have had a customer who is interested in a turbo coupled to
drive the starter/generator directly from the rear end, an inline
combination unit sort of. Their thinking is to do away with the individual
units, use the turbo to deaden the sound, exstract heat in the exhaust
system, and use a straight exhaust, and add a little hp to the engine shaft.
But we need to locate the individual, matched components to make this
