 Guys,

 Thank you for all of the info on coolant flow in the rotary.  The solution
 that I have favored thus far is to mount the punp on the left side in my
 case a pusher is on the spark plug side.  The outlet of the  Toyota pump
 will have at least (2) 90 degrre bends to get to the block inlet.  George
 do
 you have any info on the center housing cooling scenario?  Does it use 2
 pumps?

 Joe, The available four rotor conversion kit ($9800) requires a block off
 plate on the front accessory housing and an outlet addition to the stock
 front cover  behind the water pump. There is not any water pump listed in
 the kit materials. The ones being sold on the internet show one pump.
 Using a 3 rotor pump as far as I can determine requires a 3 rotor front
 accessory housing because it has a different bolt pattern than the 13B, The
 aftermarket is offering a dry sump front cover which I can't find a picture
 of at the moment which as I recall has the extra water outlets. Externally
 it looks like the one Mazda ocassionally built except that it is gear driven
 rather than chain drive. The price is high just to avoid machine work on a
 stock front accessory housing but if you were looking to dry sump it is a
 deal.
