  Where could I buy a 4 rotor?

Gene,  All the listings of running engines I find are based on the
same
kit from     www.kiwi_re.com which has a retail price of $9800 dollars
US.  There is also shipping from new Zealand.  A shop in Florida
advertised
engines less the exhaust header for $21,000 and the add stated new
Mazda
parts are used such as the rotor housings and renesis rotors. They
may use
relapped end housings and used front accessory cover and parts.  I
would
e-mail  kiwi_re  to get a list of US shops installing the kits, or
contact
Bruce Terrentine to see if he would assemble one for you if you
supply the
kit. The one  pictured in the attachment was on E-Bay recently.
I saw two types of e-shafts available. One is assembled like a 3 rotor
except that you are adding a two lobe section instead of one. The
second
variant has added bearings to the housings which don't have
stationary gears
which as I recall is how kiwi_re does it.

        I was doing a search on yahoo for "4 rotor eccentric shaft"
to
see options on connecting two stock e-shafts and found listings of 4
rotor
engines.The 4 rotor engines are used in drag racing and some drifter
and
street cars none were in aircraft. For continuous WOT operation you
will
need parallel cooling. Trying to cool 4 rotors in series with 400+
HP would
concern me.
