I would use Holley parts where ever possible
when building the fuel pressure diaphragm regulator.
Namely the diaphragm and the float needle and seat.
No point in reinventing the wheel.
I'll work on integrating the pressure regulator
in the 3D dwgs. A center mount should be just about right.

Paul, On the changes to the fuel tube in the "both-holes jpg" it looks
like the fuel tube should be anchored to the cable end and end just past
the far side of the throttle opening for the flywheel end rotor port.
It looks to me that as shown it would leave the end of the tube
unsupported.Any inaccuracy in the tube position could allow the slide
to hit the end of the tube or necessitate a counter bore for it to enter
into the opposing side of the slide. Also the opportunity for fuel
orifices at the idle throttle opening of the slide would be reduced.

Here is what it is going to look like.
The square box is the fuel pressure regulator.
The guts are not done yet.

The brass tube is .120 inches in diameter
and the .010 to .012 holes all appear to
be perpendicular to the plain.
Sketch on the right.
Hole centers look to be about .020.
Diaphragm diameter is 1.5 inches.
