Here is an old idea. I am thinking of making a new harness
for the test engine. It is easier and quicker for me to
do that than try to figure out what is wrong.
Also it needs to be easier to do and better documented.
We had one guy get so frustrated he ripped the rotary out and put
in a Lycoming. He did a wonderful job on the installation up
to that point. Real shame. It takes a highly skilled electronic
technician to wire Tracy's EFI system and do it well.
I did not implement it at the time mainly because Bob White
started making harnesses. Unfortunately Bob died of a heart attack
about a year OK.
I'll put the blinking lights on it so one can tell at a glance
during started if anything is amiss.

I am just getting around to wiring Tracy EFI/IGN computer
and I had an idea. Tracy uses a 37 pin D sub min male connector
that is rather hard to attach tiny wires to unless you are real good with
a tiny soldering iron or you have a special crimping tool.
This is a job I was not looking forward too as my eyesight
and hand coordination is not what it was when I was younger.
I was driving home from the hangar tonight and had an idea.
I have a whole bunch of these terminal strips left
over from another project and I had the idea of making a small
printed circuit board that would adapt a male 37 pin D sub min
printed circuit board connector to these easy to use terminal strips.
Merely strip the wire, insert it in the hole and tighten the screw.
I am laying out the PC board and will order a bunch of mating male
37 pin D sub min connectors to solder to the printed circuit adapter
board. If anybody wants such an adapter let me
know. Cost should be around $20 or $30.
