I didn't know that Mistral actually made any public sales. Very cool. That
intake filter looks a lot like what I was planning on doing, although not so
much hose to airbox.
Was this all your work, or was Mistral involved in some of the design and fab?

They did sell a few parts for awhile. They never fully built
a complete rotary engine of their own. There were always a few
Mazda parts in their engines.

The FWF was my design.  Mistral supplied the complete engine, wiring harness, ECUs, and engine monitor.  The panel wiring to support the engine monitor and switches was mine as well.  I had to do the radiator and airflow design.  The radiators seem to be working great, but my airflow design sucks (or, doesn't suck enough, depending on how you look at it.)  It will need some work.  I've got too much air inflow and not enough outflow.  I've got good water temperatures but high oil temperatures.  The oil temps are manageable with throttle and airspeed, so I am going to fly off the rest of my hours, then tackle the problem by reducing the intake area and expanding the outflow.  Some cut and paste on the lower cowl.

Even though not all parts are Mistral's, their custom parts were really outstanding, though.
