Subject: Need Steel Tubing

I am building landing gears shocks. Need a couple of feet of 4130 or
  equivalent
2.000 ID x 0.063. Local hydraulic vendors are out of stock of honed
hydraulic cyl tubing. My regular suppliers also cannot help me.
  Looking for an inexpensive source.
  Anyone suggestions

What a strange place for an aircraft factory. I have owned wooded land
within 20 miles for 50 years and I did not know they were there.
Recently assessed at $51K for 7.5 acres. Anybody want a deal at $40K?

Robin I am interested in your landing gear project. Possibly I can make
a set for my cozy. Let us know what you are applying it to. I can
machine many things so I believe I know pretty close to what you are
referring with the 2 inch id tube.

  Thanks!

Robin,
The bearhawk builders have realized this availability problem and are
substituting a machined 1018 DOM tube instead. I am attaching a copy of
the drawing.
