I woke up with another bright idea this morning.
I combined the nose gear bracket and the rear motor
mount strut bracket in one part. The inertia load of
the engine on the nose gear during a hard landing  goes
directly into the nose gear and not through the firewall
first. Direct load path through one bracket. Reduces the stress
on the firewall.

Every know and then some silly engineer designs something  that cannot be assembled. That was the case here. I had to add a front window so I could get
a box wrench inside this thing to tighten the nut :)

You might think hey..... this is no problem. Just use a deep socket.
Well that won't work as the shock strut will turn inside the shock body
so there needs to be a way of holding it. Normally the typical shock strut
rod as a couple of flats above the threaded portion. That won't work
here.

The solution is a special Stud with a hex key pocket in the top of it.
This is coupled to the shock rod with a double female coupling that can be jammed and lock tited. This is all KIS Cruiser nose gear design SOP.

Good thing it did not make it to Siapan before somebody found this out :)
