Hi Paul,

You are absolutely right.Enclosed is the response I got from these
bastard at Sensenich.BTW are the hp/rpm that I am giving to these guys at
Sensenich and performance seem reasonable to you.Did you hear anything
from Todd about the windshield. Cheers.

Michael

Hi,
I was wondering if you would be willing to make a ground
adjustable (the warp drive hub) custom made prop for my experimental
aircraft. If possible can you give an estimate of how much it will
cost and how long will it take to do so. Here are the detail about my
   aircraft and engine.

If you have any more question, please do not hesitate to contact
   me.Thanks

   Cheers
   Michael Hart

unfortunately, we do not have anything appropriate at the current time.
all our metal props and wooden propellers for manned aircraft are two blade.
we have made a composite air boat replacement blade for warp drive hubs,
but these blades are roughly the same size as a warp drive blade (20%
more area).

your application has several aspects which do not match well with this
existing blade:

-185 knots airspeed.  our Saber blade was designed for static
conditions, but works OK up to 90 mph.  it does not have enough twist to
be efficient above 140 mph.

-220 HP absorbed by 3 blades.  our blades are designed for approximately
50-60 HP/blade for this shank size.  your application is approximately
73 HP/blade.  larger chord blades are required for this power, but the
shank size is not large enough for the thrust bending.

-we do not have hubs for our blades; these blades are offered as
replacements.

blade molds are pretty expensive, so we generally need good sales
potential to warrant the tooling investment of a new blade design.

maybe a warp drive with more blades would work?
your engine is a bit unusual.  i can see why you prefer an adjustable
propeller.

good luck.
