Sorry to bother again but I've never been to Oshkosh. I got a room in a
 house from July 25 to 31--official dates of flyin. But, is there
 anything going on before or after that. I could come earlier or stay
later.

 I know there were other gatherings in the general area of OSH last year,
 one held just before OSH for antique aircraft. A bunch of guys from the
 local EAA chapter were trying to attend both gatherings. Also ... I
 know there was a Supercub gathering across Lake Winnebago at about the
 same time as well. A couple of years ago I chatted with the Howard
 group that was also attending a national gathering at an airport/resort
 a couple hours drive to the north.

 I suspect there is a lot of stuff going on if one takes time to look for
 it.

 You could even drive 5+ hours north and help me work on my Bearhawk
 Patrol and maybe help me haul next winter's firewood. If you're really
 ambitious, I am considering building another shop/garage. :)

I don't even know how I'm getting there yet.  Love to see your
bearhawk.  Have to check on airlines and car rentals.
