I got my O-Rings and they came flat, not coiled up so there will be no
need to form them.  These look to be great quality.  I do have what may
be a big problem with them though as the two large water seals are about
1/8 - 1/4 inch too long and won't fit in the groove.  I wonder if this
is because I have a 12a engine and not a 13b?  Can these be cut and
spliced or is there another trick to getting them to fit?

Not good. They can be cut. You want to put the cut part over by the intake
manifold and use a tiny bit or red RTV to glue the ends together.

Did you measure the slot length? I don't think the 12A is different than
the 13B but it won't hurt to check. People build 13B engines with
12A end housings all the time.

What ID did you come up with or what ID did you specify?
Perhaps Creavy made a mistake.
