Jeff,
Slowly working my way through this rebuild of my single rotor
engine. Paul says you might be able to modify my Ross drive to accept
a thrust bearing. Can you do that?
In addition to the drive itself, do you need the bell housing thwt it
mounts to?
How much will it cost, including the required bearings?

sure...... I could tackle it with some coaching from Paul.....never done
it before.........can't know what to charge until I talk to
Paul..........
jeff
I would charge by the hour as every Ross drive was slightly different.
It depends on how far the sun gear is from the mounting bulkhead and
the sun gear it self. You might have to modify the sun gear slightly
to get room for the thrust bearings.

So I would need the entire unit, housing, etc to get clearances....
I will have him send it, look it over, then quote, $50 hr.......I get a
lot more than that normally on the cnc...
thanks
jeff
Correct Jeff. When you get it take notes as I want you to build a new
one (with some improvements) for me from scratch.

Done, Jeff. Hourly is fine.
I'll send The psru, shaft and bell housing your way. Anything else?
Lewis.
