I am researching, looking for a suitable Rotary engine for an aircraft.
I would like to subscribe to your newsletter and also ask if you know
of a mfg. that makes a rotary engine that weighs 80-100 lbs and delivers
150+ hp to a propeller turning 2500 rpm.

You have set HP per pound  requirement unrealistically high.
Is that the bare engine weight with out gear box or the firewall forward
weight?
Wankel rotary engines usually run about .7 HP per pound firewall forward.

With a 3:1 gear box, all aluminum construction and and about 8000 RPM
takeoff you
might achieve as much as 1.2 HP per pound.

Small aircraft piston engines like the O-200 are .5 HP per pound,
The O-320 is about the same ratio.

Rebuilding my single rotor.  All aluminum components. High compression
rotor.
P port.  Just waiting for the race balance at Mazdatrix, then final assembly
here in Utah.  3.17 Ross drive.  How much Hp might be possible at 8000 rpm,
takeoff limitation?

You lucky dog to have a 3:17 Ross. I would love to have one for the RV4.

Makes sure it has the sun gear thrust bearing mod. Also look into swapping
out the 4 pinion planet carrier for a 6 pinion version and use Tracy's
torque
idolater instead of the spring clutch center. Or find a Porsche unit
with rubber
bushings. I am not sure that will fit the Ross input shaft spline so
check that first.

I guess I'm not looking for a Mazda converted but rather some other
brand that would fit the requirement.  I will be replacing a Continental
C65, which weighs 180 lbs.  I considered the Rotax but the footprint is
a little large.  I was hoping to find someone who mfg a rotary to reduce
weight and footprint

As I recall C65 is not 150 HP. Nor is a Rotax.

You are correct!  However if we can get more horsepower with less weight
then the airplane goes faster, which is a nice feature.
