Paul,
Just for interest sake, just how long is the intake runner
supposed to be, and where do you measure it? If I start from the inside
rotor housing I get 5 inches to the slide throttle. Then around my very
tight radius I get another 7 inches(Hard to measure a curve with a rigid
ruler), then I get another 10 inches over the top of the motor to the
mouth of the runner. Is this too long ?? Neil.
If you have a 2.85:1 gear box should be about 18 inches.
Peak power will be about 250 at 7500 RPM.
If a 2.17:1 gear box should be around 22 inches.
Peak power will be about 200 HP at 6000 RPM.
HP = ( Torque X RPM ) / 5252
You must divide the Le Mans engine's torque and HP curves by
2 because these curves are for a 4 rotor. Also it had 3
spark plugs per rotor and other minor tweaks such as ceramic
apex seals.
