I got my tail dragger checkout in an Aeronca Champ and at first thought it was terribly uncoordinated in flight, but that was just me. After a few hours it seemed to find it's way to coordinated flight. Amazing.

I'm sure you'll find the RV-4 really benign compared to the cub, especially on the ground.

That is so true. There was a lot of slop in the Cub tail wheel cables.
I would press on the pedal and nothing would happen initially.
Then suddenly you get too much. Much easier taxing the RV4 zig zagging
for forward visibility.
