Since Dan & I heard of the demise of the Rotary at Mazda last week,

I do not see Mazda dropping the rotary engine just yet. They likely will drop
the RX8 and introduce a new model. I think if they put a rotor in the Shinarai
with a smaller rotor on the front and two rotor 16X that starts for
acceleration and hills as Paul describes with a turbo compound on the small
engine would sell. Sharp looks, fuel economy and power with Mazda's handling.
Can not see that going wrong.
