I just discovered the Micro Air M760 cost $1100
  and the Flight Line FL760 cost $685 but both have the same wiring
diagram.

  Hmmm! Interesting. I am willing to bet they are made by the same
company
  and are internally about the same.

  $685 is more like the right price as com radios probably
  all use the same integrated circuits as hand held's selling
  for hundred's less.

  I have not done a detailed comparison of the features
  yet but they are very similar with built in intercom.

  They both fit the same 2.25 inch hole in the panel.

   They are not the same. In particular, Flight line model has separate
   music input.

Nice, so not only is it 2/3 the price, but it has additional
features!  That
sounds like a bargan.  BTW, I previously sent you a link where the
micro-air
was only $950.  No matter that is still more than $680.

Got my gear box on yesterday, then had to remove and replace it today
because of a snubber sizing issue. Hope to be flying by the weekend.
