The popular D-submin connectors are widely used on
several avionics systems. The connectors is normally
secured with a couple of 4-40 screws. These tiny screws are
difficult to deal with in tight places so I recommend finding
these thumb screws and using them instead. They are easily
checked for tightness with just your fingers. They can also
be drilled for safety wire.

I found these on a old computer monitor cable.

The regular screws require a tiny screw driver that
keeps slipping out of the slot.

Another more tidy alternative is to use socket head cap screws ....
easy to insert with an Allen wrench and they can be bought drilled
for safety wire.
