Paul,
          Need help as to the correct way to wire up the 585 coils.  The four connections seem to consist of A Earth,  B  Also an earth, C trigger wire, D power supply.  Which one is which and is there any way I can test them with a multi meter to verify the correct ones?

This is what I have Neal.

The only way I know to test them is set them up on the bench and
use a pulse generator with a narrow pulse output to trigger them.
