I found another approach to reducing planetary gear chatter, although
this is not a commercial product yet.  It could probably be
fabricated by a good machinist?[heck, George is looking at making
his own engine housings!!]  It has to do with having the planet
gears do double duty as roller bearings, eliminating the need for
such bearings.  Also, the number of gear teeth differ from one end
of the planets to the other, reducing the sympathetic harmonics of
each gear

Looks to me that the number of teeth, pitch, is different from one gear set
to the next. It looks like three planetary sets stacked into one. The ratio of
them is all the same, so they can rotate together. With different pitch, any
harmonic produced as the gears mesh is counteracted by the next gear set. Kind
of what helical gears do but with straight gears.
Similar could be achieved by two sets of gears offset by one half a tooth.
The root of one gear is aligned with the tooth of the gear set next to it.
This results in one tooth fully engaged while the other is just coming into
contact.
