Paul you asked if I had 2d software earlier today, could'nt find where I
  read it, answer is, I don't, but if you send some 2d files, I will get the
  program for the drawings you send, then get working on collecting the
  components for a hollow shaft reduction unit.

 There is low cost program called Q Cad for XP.
 That works fine and I can send you dxf's that will load
 into that. That will give you the dimensions of the parts
 that you can print.

Is Q Cad still bundled with Ubuntu downloads?
I'll buy Q Cad if not. The freeware has a 15min limit, then shut down.

15 minutes may be enough for printing.
Are you running Ubuntu?
I am not sure qcad is still free for ubuntu.

In any event here is a dxf for part of the coupler.

DraftSight is available for free for most Linux (yes Ubuntu) and
Windows systems. It will read AutoCAD files (dwg & dxf) and has many of
the AutoCAD commands.
