1. If you are using Tracy's gear box it is a good idea
   to use the 3rd gen RX7 13B high capacity oil pump.

   2. If you are using a turbo make sure you have
   separate oil lines from the main oil gallery in
   the block going to both the turbo and Tracy's gear
   box. Do not run one line and T it to both the turbo
   and the gear box.

Paul has anyone ever measured the flow on the return line on
one of Tracy?s gear boxes? When I modified my Ross drive to work
like Tracy?s I wasn?t sure what size hole to put in the sun gear
to feed the system.

Not to my knowledge but it would be certainly be interesting.

The Ross is a different animal. There are no pressure fed
plain bearing. All bearings are needle or roller so it
needs far less oil.  IMHO it is a far better design
and lighter weight by about 10 pounds. I wish somebody would
start making it again. I don't recall the orifice size recommended
by Ross but I would guess about one quart per hour. It would
be nice if it had its own oil supply, oil circulating pump and
oil cooler.
