Hello Paul,
What a sad and disturbing weekend at Reno. My thoughts to all concerned.
I scanned the RD-1C Assembly Manual and photographed the
unassembled unit. Tracy ships the unit with the prop shaft already
assembled so I do not have photos of the full unit sans housing as
Ed requested. The material is in a huge zip file folder (84 MB) at
the following link:
http://www.lexami.com/pdf files/rd-1c manual and photos.zip
I hope this is useful.
Let me know if you have trouble accessing the file.

Thanks William.
The link did not open, perhaps its not strung together right.

If you go to Real World Solutions site and read the PSRU development
dissertation, it will inform a lot. Also look at the RD-1B and RD-1C topics.
There are photos of both gear sets. I attach here the page from the 2006 FRPP
catalog with the wide ratio sets for both the C6 and AOD transmissions. I
have circled the parts I think go together as shown in Tracy's photos. I used
red and blue pencil to differentiate. Hope it shows up.

The Ford Racing Performance Parts are likely to be higher priced than
the stock parts. One can get 2.85:1 and 3.17:1 out of the stock parts.
Here are a few illustrations.
BTW it is always best to modify a successful and proven aircraft assembly rather
than start from scratch. At least 100 Ford C6 based PSRU's have been flying with
1000's of accumulated hours for many years. We have learned what not and what to do.
Invaluable R&D by the best test people available. The customer.
