Anybody know how to take ASCII data in from a USB port using
the Linux command line? I have a USB GPS receiver putting out
NEMA ASCII data every one second.

Hey Paul

Have you tried plugging it in yet?  Linux is pretty good at detecting
new hardware plugged into it's USB ports.  That should be your first
test.  Let me know what happens.
