I am also using both Google Chrome and Opera. Both are much faster than
even the newest Firefox. So far no negative experiences with the two.

Thanks Chris for telling me about Opera.  I have had tons of problems
with
Firefox.  Just loaded Opera and it is really fast.  I use it for a
Hotmail
address that I know I'm going to get junk mail on.  Use Chrome for
business
and Explorer for other stuff but may change Explorer stuff to Opera and
vice
versa.

I have been using Firefox hard for 13 years on Linux. No problems.
It may have more to do with its use on Windows.

for an integrated browser + mail client + html editor, give
SeaMonkey <http://www.seamonkey-project.org/a try. I have found  years
ago, that I am more productive with it than using IE + Outlook Express.
SeaMonkey is sort of a combo version of FireFox - both based on Mozilla.
I use FireFox only for times when I need to print a frame from a
webpage. Only use Internet Explorer when some websites are not coded to
accept other browsers or do not perform some functions correctly because
of the website programming. Haven't tried Google's Chrome or Opera but
plan to load Opera and see how it runs on Fedora.
