Paul

are you sure you want to use 7075??
I have a great source for 7050 with certs cheap cheap cheap it's all
boeing
scrap.
maore than you will ever use. My machine is not being used at the moment.
I can machine the plates and squares
if you send me the drawings.

Tony

I'll get back to you when I get back from check rides Tony.
What dwg format can you use. We might try a built in planet
carrier on the 4 inch aluminum shaft.

Perhaps Ed needs something right at the moment?

Hi Tony,

I could use Al 7050 for a "good" low price.
dia 4"  ~ 1 ft lg
dia 3.5" ~ 1 ft lg
dia 3" ~ 1 ft lg
dia 1.5" ~ 2 ft lg

Could you quote a price?  Do you also have rectangular shapes?
Rolf, (you may contact me directly, if you wish: rolf@ropexgroup.com)

I hav'nt had a chance to look at the specs on it yet, If it is similar to
6061 or better, then it should make good housing material. We need 6 to 6.5"
OD. I think $10 bucks an inch is cheap for a 4.25" dia 7075 T73 bar stock.
So I'll be delighted to get something for about the same price for the
housing.

Ok Tony, very interested after reading up on it a bit. I need a good 6" to
6.5" round bar 11 or 22" length. Or if there are some tube rems, then same
OD as above, with 1" or greater wall thickness.

If you and Paul agree to create some of the prop plates, I'm interested.

Thanks!

Ed Carver

Yes I'll go for it.
