I read about the 555 IC based ignition I want to use it as a redundant fuel system on a MP Suzuki engine set up to take over in flight in the event of a systems failure on the primary system I want to run it as a single injector (Throttle body) Maximum power or fuel efficiency are not critical
Did anyone make one run?
If so once trimmed to run at full throttle does the mixture need trimming for cruise Is the concept similar to outboard motor EFI

It is heavily dependent on manual leaning. The 555 only needs to keep
the engine running over the RPM band. You will need some sort of mixture
feed back on the instrument panel like a wide band mixture monitor.
