Paul i was looking to find a simple way to drive the governor and i would like having your expertise by using the
speedometer geardrive system made of metals who can be drive by the sungear shaft behind the the sungear itself and the
trust washer can be located behind,i can not calculate the ratio between gears because i dont have the driver gear tooth
pitch ,do you think with their table we can find the output rpm base on the rotary speed.I know those gears are not
strong enought but i can have it made of steel and brass.The other way to have it install on the trust bearing cup at
bigger diameter and lower speed ratio due to the main shaft speed.With the bellhousing i still have lot of room to fit
this set up

The easy way Jean is drive it with a cog belt from the front of the engine.

BTW If you are happy with your aluminum casting foundry I would like
to get some castings from them for my 3.17:1 PSRU housings.
