I know that is probably a capital sin and I will probably go to hell for it
but I have a 6 cylinder Subaru SVX 3.3 engine sitting on the floor that is
going to find its way onto the engine pylon of my coot.

Ken,
   I'm not sure about the eternal damnation but you certainly have some
splainin to do. I'm of the school of "if it and broke don't fix it". It
seems to me you have a near perfect situation. Amphib with plenty of power
in the North West and some hours under your belt with no "Leonards" (sorry
Dave). So could you give us your reasoning for the switch. What are the
shortcomings with your system, any issues you haven't been able to solve
etc. Are you planning to use nitrous on the Soob ?
