Hi Paul!

Here's the address to the foundry:
Sheehan Foundry
9352 San Fernando Rd.
Sun Valley 91352
It is only a couple miles from my house.

The the mold pattern in the first image is 6.58" approx od on the main
section. The large od for the flange is 8.5", and the core support on each
end is 4.5"od. I made these things on the fat side I guess, the casting
will shrink some, but if you think I should reduce the pattern a bit, I can
do it. The length of the pattern can be used to produce an 18" housing. It
can be shortened to whatever length we desire by removing some of the
pattern sections. Once the pattern is finish filled and sanded, I will ad
the sump pattern. We need to decide where to put the drains and how to
guarantee the lube is always available on each end of the shaft. I have a
pump system in mind using parts from Porsche gear boxes, or maybe an rx
apex seal oil pump.

I am requesting quotes for silicon nitride bearings in three sizes:
100x125x13mm
95x130x18mm
4x5x0.5 inches

The last image is the core pattern box.

You are going to need some draft on the mounting flange Ed.
An apex oil seal pump is not really a pump.
However oil pumps are easy to make using what is called
pinion gear stock.

I think the Shanghai Lilly bearings are sealed.
Tracy uses a sealed ball bearing in his PSRU
