I found a turbo- 13B newly rebuilt engine with redrive. Would this engine
combo work in a Kitfox IV 1200? I know it is a lot of power for that plane
but what about the weight?
The engine has not been run since rebuild all the other parts are new.
Here's the info that I got=
to give you an idea what the package cost me without the box 'o stuff that
goes with it
engine    3000
RD1B reduction drive    3450
EC injection and ignition controller    600
turbo    1500

Thanks!
-Barrett

Too heavy but it would be a good basis for a one rotor.

Contact Dave Atkins and see if he can make a one rotor
out of it. A turbo one rotor is a good combination.
Not too heavy and plenty of power. Our new one barrel carb
would work great on the front of the turbo.
