Ed, the OD on the rear planet ring gear is exactly 5 inches
so cleaning up your tube should work.
However the bearing is 130 MM or 5.118 OD so we will need to
sleeve the ring gear with .118 thick sleeve. The tubing will need
to be bored to 5.118 ID dimension about 5 inches deep.
The set screws going through the sleeve into shallow recesses in
the ring gear. This is for the rear planet set and 3.12:1.
For the 2.85:1 front planet version the sleeve would be somewhat
thicker.
The shafts in the front planet will need to be EDM'ed out to .375.
I have a 2.85:1 front planet carrier in stock. Do you want me to put
that in the EDM shop? It will cost around $150,

The od on the frt ring is 5.020". It will need to be cleaned up a bit
because it is very rough.
I have a front planet. The bearing shafts are .417", I have planed on
using 9mm rod bolts (0.3546") and do the edm to that size. I just
discovered "Super Bolts" and Nord Lock washers thanks to J. D. Newman at
infinity aerospace.

If they can act as the direct carrier for the planet bearings I will us
them instead of the edm method.
I just made the flange for the 9.5" housing tube. It will be delivered
with extra weld around the base side for centering in the bell housing.
I'll get the tube cut tomorrow, and probably weld it too. It will be 1/8
or so long so it can be finish machined.
We can easily machine a tube to the sleeve size after cleaning up the od
of the ring gear. Good way to hold the bearing in I guess. Hopefully the
bearings are being routed our way as we write.

The bearing shafts need to be very hard and very smooth. I don't
think you are going to find a bolt that will work.
When I measure the shafts they appear to be 7/16th or .4375 Dia.
Where did the .417 dim come from?
Most of the C6 dims are in inches as they were designed years ago.
EDM'ng them to 9 mm will work of course.
Take a picture of one of those 9 mm rod bolts.
9 mm bolts are hard to find.
