Does anybody know how to increase the text size in open office spread
 sheet charts. It is hard to read these titles.

(1) Highlight are a spreadsheet (I usually click on diagonal corners of
desired are while holding down Shift-Key),,else select entire spread
sheet with Edit/SelectAll

(2) On pulldown menues use Format/Cells/Font and use mini-scroll-bars to
select find type/size

That works fine for the font in the cells but the numbers on the chart
are still small.

Paul, I don't have Open Office, but in Excel, I just double click on the
axis or legend text, and can choose the font and size.

With a CSV file, there's no provision to store a font / text size in
the file...  It's just _Comma _Separated _Values!  If you save the
file to another format (.xls, etc), you can save the size and it will
be preserved the next time you open the file.

Another possible choice depending on your version of OOffice: There
may be a zoom slider on the bottom right corner of the window as
depicted here:

Moving that will make things bigger/smaller depending on which way you go.

Or, go to View - Zoom..
