People ask me if the end plates for the single rotor engine are custom
made or one offs. If they are available, from whom? I assume that they
are also Aluminum? Neil. Mounting fuel pumps, then muffler shroud,
mount engine on plane, hook up electrics, then noise !!

Some are stock cast iron 2 rotor parts but it does not make for a light weight 120 HP engine. Richard Sohn is building hybrid end plates mostly aluminum but the wear surfaces are cast iron which makes the most sense.

Racing Beat also sells all aluminum end plates but we have no history on the wear coatings yet.
