Are there any Rotary Forum guys in South Africa in the Cape Town area that
 can give
 me some info perhaps?

I am currently working in Maputo, Mozambique until October 2012. After
 that I've been
transferred back to the Western Cape from Port Elizabeth. My Vision
 homebuilt is
about 60% complete and is currently in a workshop attached to my house. I
 am selling
my house in PE and will have to look for someplace to move my project to,
 maybe
Fisantekraal or Stellenbosch wherever I can find space. If push comes to
 shove, I
might put up my own hangar.

 Thanks guys.

Pierre, its been a long time since i was down there but check with Louie
van Wyk at fisantekraal (if he's still there) he has the microlight school
i learned to fly at in 1996. I recently started following the rotary scene
but am currently planning on powering my project with a subaru EJ-22, my
project is in USA, where i spend most of my time. Good luck with the
vision, and have a look at Raniers latest line-up of EIFIS avionics due for
release shortly (MGL Avionics), they look hard to beat,

Alex
