I'm almost done with my phase 1 flight testing, the plane is at the point
 where I
 just take it out and fly it, no squawks. cooling works fine, but I'll be
 making an
 air scoop worthy of the rest of the plane now that I've got the
 configuration down.
 My question is this- what notifications if any do I have to make other than
 a
 notation in my maintenance logs that I have completed my 40 hours?

 Congratulations!  You have answered your own question.  Make the log entry
 per your Ops Specs, Sign and date it appropriately.  The restrictions of
 Phase I are history.
