Dear engine converters!

Considering building a kit airplane, I'm also looking at the cost of it. Vans RV-10,
Velocity and Glasair Sportsman comes to mind. But the thought of spending 30-40.000
Euros on a factory new 250-300 HP engine makes me absolutely Scottish.

And Mistral isn't much help these days, are they.

It seems an aircraft converted car engine. And the most reliable silent and low
vibrating is probably the Mazda Wankel. The new 16B or a three rotor seems about
right for the job. So my question to you Experts is this:

Is there some kind of bullet proof kit to make it adequate and safe as an aircraft
engine with double ignition and so on?

The engine block is fine as is. You only need a suitable intake manifold and gear box.
