          Have just weighed my glastar sportsman  to find I am within the factory
weights for an IO 360. at 180 Hp.  True they have a heavy constant speed prop whereas
I have a light fixed pitch prince prop. I also have a very heavy muffler system so
lets say the two balance out.  I weighed in at a total of 1410 Lbs with an auto
pilot, and nearly IFR instrumentation.  Then I have 250 hp compared to the 180 hp of
the lyc.    Now to tune the engine and first flight here I come.  Lifting the plane
with the lifting lugs along the main spar, it was just slightly tail heavy.  Before
with the subaru, it was very nose heavy and required someone to hold the tail down.
Without any calculations it is near perfect.  Neil.
