howdy, folks.  I'm new to this site.  I about 80 hours to go before I
start working on the engine installation.  I've decided on the
Renesis   1st choice, or an older rotary, but definitely a rotary.
I'm working on a Glastar and was startled seeing the spitting image of
it being devoured by a yellow mantis- like thing on Rotary Engine
News.    I've seen the rotary's on barnstormer and really wanted to
buy one, but they seem to be from RV's or pushers, but I need more
info from youse guys who are doing it.   I need some help in knowing
about ;the engine supports specific to the glastar.  If Neil could
give me some direction, I'd appreciate it.  I have Crooks book on the
rotary, but there doesn't seem to be more current literature.  I can't
believe that 200 HP is easily possible, esp with the P intakes.  Very
nice to see so many important parts available,too, for the intake/
exhaust and other important improvements.   I want mine to be extra
quiet also.  I tried to get info from the Sportsman guys in Wash, but
they don;t believe in anything, but the Lycosaurs.  They wouldn't even
tell me why they don't recommend a sub 6; they just say don't.  I'm
believing in the rotary.  How do I get to the forums ?

Here is another rotary powered Glastar with a Ross GB done about 6 or 7 or so years
ago by Sigward Ganswindt. Old school plugs up  which dates from 1973 by Lew Ross RIP.
I have  not heard anything since. I am not even sure if it cooled well.
