Some pictures of my install I my Velocity SE. First flight was a
 month ago.

 Yep, that is a big ol' draggy (and ugly) scoop hanging off the lower
 cowl, but it sure improved cooling. As testing progresses I hope to
 make it smaller, prettier, more aerodynamic and hopefully with much
 less drag. But, hey, did I mention I flew the thing ;-)

 A P51 style scoop would be the answer.

I usually refer to it as the FWB - Firewall Back.

Yes, a P-51 style scoop is exactly what I envision.

Since I made some significant mods for cooling so I re-did my W&B and the mods shed
11 lbs.  Go figure.
