I am an retired aircraft mechanic and inspector who rebuilds rotaries.  My latest
interests are water cooling mods to the housings around the spark plugs..... and
doing in-chamber testing to determine best ignition point and burn-rate improvements
with TFX equipment.

Where do you live Barry? From time to time people need over hauls.
Not from wearing them out in aircraft. Mostly engines out of cars being prepped for
use in aircraft. Our HP requirements rarely exceed 250 so far we have not needed the
cooling enhancements in the water jacket. Some people are running CHTs and the temp
is not getting over 350 F or so.

Looks like you are way ahead of the curve on the cooling of the rotor housings.
