I just discovered this external real time clock module after I ordered the first
batch of 8051 EFI PC boards. I will test it on the proto and incorporate it in the
next iteration. There is software support for the 8051. Many people implement real
time clocks in CPU software but the trouble comes in when you have interrupts. The
software RTC accuracy goes to crap. ZBasic has this problem.

I'll send out seconds, minutes and hours to the PC note book etc. etc. through the
USB in real time when I send data. When the engine is first started I'll send the date.
