Paul, can you let me know why the left and right mounts are at a different height?

Thanks

Andrew Binks

How are you measuring that?

Don't judge on the bottom edge.

Bolt on the cups and place a metal straight edge across the bottom of the cups.

The plate is otherwise unsymmetrical for several reasons. Number one the Mazda bell
housing bolt pattern is unsymmetrical. The plate also allows for a radiator mount on
the right side of the engine (the plug side). The exhaust side has clearance for the
exhaust pipes and the motor mount tubes.

What kind of an airplane are you building?

.
How easy is it to get to the spark plugs for replacement with the side mount radiator?

Bill Schertz

Stand on a stool and reach over the diffuser.
One could also put a door in the diffuser wall.
