I bought a new ASUS 15 inch 4 processor note book and the wireless does not
work under 10.1.

I saved the original sys 7 350 Gig HD and put a 1T HD in for Ubuntu 10.1
The wireless worked under sys7

I don't like the GUI user interface on 11.04 or later.
Too simplistic,

What do I put in all these boxes?

Paul,

I switched to Linux Mint, Mate Edition now and it works for me
as a desktop interface. You can give it a try and see if
you like it.

I have problem with the Cinnamon edition.
