I have been renting a lot of motel rooms recently.
If Internet is important to you check the Internet
service in the lobby before you rent the room. Try to log on.
If it comes up and tells you it cost more for high speed
the Internet provider is a company called Influx.
Don't rent the room. Go else where.
This is a Schlock outfit with shitty Internet service.
BTW Denny's restaurants wireless Internet some times works and
some times they don't work. Each Denny's restaurant is
responsible for their own Internet provider.
McDonald's wireless on the other hand always works great. Fast
and easy to log on.

Excellent Mark.
It amazes me any biz would support Obama.
They must be stupid.
Paul Lamar
Looks like most Democrat supporting companies depend on
poor people for their customers. They want more customers.
Obama so loved the poor, he created millions more!

G'Day Paul,
Some further comments on Wi Fi when travelling.
McDonalds is good - they rarely have power outlets so ensure your
battery is charged.
Denny's may or may not have Wi Fi, they sometimes have to reset the
modem for you, strangely enough we have often got on line on someone
elses site nearby when they let us down.
The Home Depot seem to all have good Wi Fi, although it may only be of
good strength near the entrance.
Super 8 always have good Wi Fi, as do most hotels, most are not using
security now, so if you do not mind scabbing off them you can get on in
their parking area.
RV parks vary a lot, some who claim free WiFi only have it in a very
limited area, still if there is nothing else they can be worth a try.
Some want to hit you with rediculous charges and time limits.
How do I know this? For the last 5 years we have been coming over from
Oz 3 times a year to stimulate your economy:-). We tour in our RV - it
is easier for me with my leg disability than dragging our gear in and
out of accomodation all the time. We have covered a lot of the USA and
enjoyed it, meeting a lot of great people. I have just turned 75 so we
are planning to phase out of it. If anyone wants a great 36ft Country
Coach diesel pusher that amazed me by frequently getting 10 mpg let me know.
John Evans
I have discovered something else. Those hotels that require
pass words frequently have trouble with logging on the internet.
McDonald's does not require a password.
