Robin and I just went for a ride in Mark Steitle home built
3 rotor powered Lancair ES now built and sold by Cessna
as the "Columbia" for 3/4 of million US dollars.

Hey Paul,
I just wanted to say that it was great visiting with you and
Robin yesterday. And I'm glad that you enjoyed the flight.
If Romney is elected president, maybe gas prices will drop
enough for me to fly more often. If not, I guess it will turn
into a "hangar queen". I feel like I'm working
just to pay my fuel bill. ;-(
Well, have a safe trip through W. Texas (don't pick up any
hitch-hikers!).

The "Columbia" made by Cessna is one of the two certified 2 seater
airplanes sold by Cessna. The first one are named Skycatcher, the second
one are called Corvalis, this one was origionally a Columbia. Don't
think so, just because they installed 4 seats inside, fill up the gas
tank and see what you have left. This one have less left than it should
and the range is no that good either. The RV 10 is a real 4 seater, same
with the 182. The 172 is more like a 2+2, those in the back better be
children.
