I feel sorry for everybody in the US. 50% of them were dumb enough
to bring it on themselves. They have no idea what they just did. Perhaps
they will figure it out in the next four years.
IMHO the next 4 years will be a disaster. Grid lock (as it should be.) and 20
trillion dollars in US debt. I am not sure the US will ever recover.
I am very old and it will not affect me much one way or the other but a
wonderful country to live in has just been destroyed. Private aviation
is finished as the price of fuel will not come down. The finest health care
in the world will be decimated. We are now well on the way to becoming
a third world nation.

It sure looks like a win for the looters and the isolationist retreatists -- we're
heading for some very turbulent weather.
Like you, I already have my wealth. It's not about us.
It sounds like, once again, the world will need to learn the hard way. I wonder how
many people will die this next time around. How
bad will it get? What kind of evil with the governments of the world bring on us as
they select their next round of scapegoats -- to
make sure we don't see them for the failures.
Will it be a worldwide "cultural revolution" against us evil capitalists? Will it be
the "white man?" Will it be the Infidel? Will it be a
world war between US, Russian and Chinese interests? I fear we're in store for some
hurtful surprises in the next four years.
Obama successfully sold America the fiction of class-warfare. And yes, it does show
how stupid we are. But it's not the first time.
On the other hand, there is some good news. In this election many print newspapers
switched for Romney. Conservatives got about
1/2 the vote. The Tea Party is not dead. Nor are we. We're simply in retreat.
Hold on tight.... it's going to get ugly. But we'll get through it.
BTW, did you read today that France announced some new programs where the government
forcibly
"takes over" vacant buildings for the "poor." Very communist. As I said, it's going
to get ugly.
